Adam Latham

Adam Latham was born in England. He studied painting at the Royal college of Art, and interested in the intersection of graphic and fine art and concepts of cultural values. His work is usually made with Indian ink fine-liner pens, watercolour and gouache on both paper and board. The works are characterized by sumptuous cross hatching velvety blacks and rich colour. Thematically his work looks to the idea of exoticism and depicts imagery influenced by an interest in primitivism, natural history illustration and modernist abstraction.
