Tom HRVB is an illustrator and graffiti artist located in Berlin. His focus is on character design, complex illustrations and painting murals.
Tom grew up in one of these nice estates of prefabricated houses in East Berlin, detecting my passion for graffiti already in the 90s. Today, he totally direct his attention to the composition of characters, well subtle shapes and sweeps that amount to a big picture – no matter what medium he is using. And, these pictures are mostly aimed to act over feelings not over mind. Since 2009 he has been working as a freelance illustrator and graffiti artist. Moreover, He is a member of The Weird – a crew of ten special and highly talented artists spread all over Germany and Austria.
The projects he work for are insanely diverse and consequently the challenge that is needed for an artist to develop. He is an inherently curious person and absorbing his environment with eyes and ears. Furthermore, Tom a really fun loving person and always up for anything.
“In any way, my brain seems to link all these information and emotions and to reissue them in form of my paintings. This is what constitutes my inspiration in the creative process.” —— Tom describes about his inspirations.
