Yana Beylinson is a NYC-based artist concentrating on representing nature through powerfully rendered paintings. Either purely botanical or representational, the artwork is tied closely to a specific time and place. Each is a meditation on a specific emotional experience. Deep reverence for nature, for its infinite complexity and variety, is a constant theme. The viewer is pulled into the luminosity and shapes of florals. Introduction of humans within the landscape embodies and intensifies the intended emotional charge.
